3. Custom-Build Orders & Deposits

Custom orders are a core part of our business. By placing a custom order, you agree to the following:

3.1 Deposits

  • Custom orders require a non-refundable deposit (amount varies per product).

  • Work begins only after the deposit is received.

3.2 Build Times

  • Estimated build times are approximate and may vary due to:

    • Material availability

    • Shipping delays

    • Workshop scheduling

    • Force majeure events

  • Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refunds of deposits.

3.3 Customization Variations

Because all custom items are handcrafted:

  • Slight variations in color, texture, wood grain, and finish are normal.

  • These variations are not considered defects.

3.4 Final Payment

  • Final balance is due before shipment.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in order cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Pricing and Payments

Prices are subject to change without notice.

We may correct pricing errors at any time. If an incorrect price was shown during checkout, we may:

  • Cancel the order, or

  • Offer the item at the correct price

We accept major payment methods through secure third-party processors.
We do not store full credit card information.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

5.1 Shipping

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or invoiced separately.

  • We ship through trusted carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, etc.).

5.2 Damage During Shipping

Once a package leaves our workshop:

  • We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier.

  • Customers must inspect items upon delivery.

  • Any damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier.
    We can assist by providing documentation if needed.

5.3 International Orders

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties

  • Brokerage fees

  • Any delays caused by customs

These costs are not included in our pricing.

6. Returns & Cancellations

Due to the handcrafted and custom nature of our products:

6.1 Custom Orders

Custom-built items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

6.2 Ready-Made Products

For non-custom products:

  • Returns may be accepted within 7 days of delivery

  • Item must be unused, in original condition

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility

  • A restocking fee may apply

6.3 Cancellations

Custom orders cannot be canceled after production begins.
Deposits are non-refundable.

7. Warranty

Our products are built to last. We offer:

7.1 Warranty Coverage

A limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from delivery.

7.2 What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper use or abuse

  • Speaker overloading

  • Improper wiring or modification

  • Moisture damage

  • Damage caused by external gear

  • Damage caused by shipping carriers

  • Cosmetic imperfections in natural wood

7.3 Warranty Service

If a defect occurs:

  • Customer must contact us with photos and description

  • We may request the product be shipped back (customer pays shipping unless otherwise agreed)

  • We will repair or replace at our discretion

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Ashen Amps is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Our liability is limited to the amount the customer paid for the product

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website
