“After doing a lot of playing on the Goldy, I come to the conclusion it is a Fender blues Jr sounding amp which will help guys get a better idea of the Goldy since the Blues Jr is Fender's best seller. The Blues Jr is a cross between the Tweed and Blackface, as is the Goldy. Both get very nice clean sounds without the scooped Blackface top end. The sound is thicker but not muddy, fuller with a snap-bluesy.
